Product description With a history for manufacturing quality measurement and studio microphones, the DK25/R from Earthworks drum microphone set represents an innovative approach to drum miking for live sound applications. The set includes two TC25 omnidirectional condenser microphones, an SR25 cardioid microphone and a KickPad in-line pad adapter. Earthworks engineers have developed a 25kHz percussion microphone series, challenging the traditional 5 to 7 microphone technique with just 2 overhead and 1 kick drum microphone. The result is a level of clarity, cohesiveness and transparency that rival industry favorite drum microphones and miking techniques, while reproducing an image of the entire drum kit. The microphone set features the KickPad, an in-line adapter that optimizes the included SR25 cardioid microphone for use on a kick drum. - TC25 Omnidirectional Condenser Microphone (Single Microphone) The TC25 from Earthworks is an omnidirectional microphone. The TC25's design is intended for crucial capturing of loud, transient rich sources such as drums, percussion, amplified instruments, horns and much more. The prepolarized omnidirectional capsule exhibits fast response to transient (peak) signals.The capsule is coupled with a dedicated low output impedance preamplifier resulting in transparent signal reproduction without noise and peak distortion. An impressively wide, flat frequency response and omnidirectional pick up pattern further maximize detail and eliminate noise due to proximity effect. Overall the TC25 is a valued addition to professional and project recording facilities as well as sound reinforcement rigs.

- SR25 Studio Condenser Microphone (Single Microphone) The SR25 from Earthworks is a condenser microphone. This cardioid condenser studio microphone is designed for precision pick up in crucial recording and sound reinforcement environments. Its precision cardioid pickup pattern provides exceptional rejection of off-axis signal and noise due to room ambiance, instruments, monitor speakers, etc.The condenser element provides a warm, transparent sonic character with an even 50 Hz to 25 kHz frequency response. Sonic timbre, frequency response and transparency remain uniform across the entire front of the capsule, providing maximum sound reproduction regardless of placement. The capsule boasts an SPL rating of 145 dB allowing exceptional reproduction of audio peaks without distortion and overload. The SR25 is powered via 48V phantom power and is suitable for instrument, vocal and live concert recording.
