They can be used for live performance and studio recording applications.The microphones' hypercardioid polar pattern is consistent across all frequencies, simplifying mic placement, ensuring more gain before feedback, and virtually eliminating phasing issues when using multiple microphones. The extended frequency response from 30 Hz to 40 kHz reproduces sound with more depth and accuracy, especially for instruments that have more high-frequency overtones.These multi-purpose microphones are equally at home miking acoustic guitar, brass, woodwinds, along with numerous other instruments.
