Product description Quickly and easily expand the reach of your existing Wi-Fi network with the RE11S AC1200 Dual-Band Wireless Range Extender from Edimax. Setup is easy, as this plug-and-play Wi-Fi extender comes equipped with Smart IQ Setup, which guides you though the process of detecting your current Wi-Fi signal and connecting the extender to your network, all from your smartphone, tablet, or web browser.
Once configured, the RE11S supports the 802.11ac Wi-Fi network standard and operates on both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies supporting wireless data transfer rates of up to 1200 Mbps. The RE11S is also designed to provide seamless roaming between SSIDs so you can roam about without the need to sign in to a different Wi-Fi network. When not in use, the range extender can be switched off to reduce power consumption by up to 75% via the built-in power switch. - Plug-and-Play in AP-Mode
