Product description Take advantage of surround sound media in your home theater speaker system with the Adante AC-61 3-Way Center Channel Speaker from ELAC. Whether it's a movie, TV show, or a concert on Blu-ray, having a dedicated center channel is essential for the optimal reproduction of dialogue and vocals in a surround sound audio mix.
The duo of 8" passive radiators are matched by two 6.5" aluminum cone woofers, which are internally mounted behind the radiators, essentially providing each woofer with its own enclosure. Engineering the cabinet to keep the woofers inside is designed to drastically reduce vibration and provide you with distortion-free audio. The woofers are joined by a single 1" soft dome tweeter that is concentrically mounted to a single 5.25" aluminum cone midrange driver.
It connects to your home theater system through conventional speaker wire (not included), so you will need an amplifier or receiver to power the speaker properly. It is rated to accept between 50 to 160 watts per channel.
