Product description Equipped with multiple dedicated drivers for high, mid, and low frequencies, the ELAC Adante AF-61 6.5" 3-Way Floor-Standing Speaker is well suited for 2-channel stereo or home theater installations. Low frequencies are enhanced with a trio of 8" aluminum cone passive radiators, and floor spikes that are designed to reduce vibration and ensure stable placement on a variety of flooring.
The trio of 8" passive radiators are matched by three 6.5" aluminum cone woofers, which are internally mounted behind the radiators, essentially providing each woofer with its own enclosure. Engineering the cabinet to keep the woofers inside is designed to drastically reduce vibration and provide you with distortion-free audio. The woofers are joined by a single 1" soft dome tweeter that is concentrically mounted to a single 5.25" aluminum cone midrange driver.
The AF-61 connects passively to your system through conventional speaker wire (not included), so you will need an amplifier or receiver to power the speaker properly. It is rated to accept between 50 to 160W per channel.
