Product description Equipped with dedicated drivers for high, mid, and low frequencies, the ELAC Adante AS-61 6.5" 3-Way Bookshelf Speaker is well suited for 2-channel stereo or home theater installations.
An 8" passive radiator is matched by a single 6.5" aluminum cone woofer, which is internally mounted behind the radiator, essentially providing the driver with its own enclosure. Engineering the cabinet to keep the driver inside is designed to drastically reduce vibration and provide you with distortion-free audio. The woofer is joined by a single 1" soft dome tweeter that is concentrically mounted to a single 5.25" aluminum cone midrange driver.
It connects passively to your system through conventional speaker wire (not included), so you will need an amplifier or receiver to power the speaker properly. It is rated to accept between 50 to 160W per channel.
