Product description The Miracord 90th Anniversary Manual Turntable from ELAC is engineered to produce clean and smooth hi-fi audio from your vinyl collection. In order to prevent unwanted vibrations and sound from reaching the cartridge, ELAC incorporates heavyweight materials and a design that isolates major components from one another. The tonearm's lightweight carbon fiber design and counterweight help to keep the tracking force low, while an anti-skate feature works to prevent skipping. A built-in dial provides manual adjustment to support both 33 and 45 rpm records, and audio is output via two gold-plated Neutrik RCA connectors. - Heavyweight MDF Chassis
- The main chassis of the Miracord is made from 12 lb of MDF, which rests on specially designed silicone feet that are meant to provide separation from the turntable and the surface you place it on.
- Smooth Aluminum Platter
- The aluminum platter weighs almost 14 lb and sits on a sub-platter whose hardened steel axis rotates on an 8mm ruby ball for minimal friction. The axis is mounted using high-quality sintered bronze bearing bushings.
- Isolated Motor
- The motor is double-decoupled and is rubber dampened with suspension to isolate it from the chassis and tonearm, helping to prevent any unwanted noise from being output through your speakers.
- Carbon-Fiber Tonearm
- With a lightweight carbon fiber construction, the tonearm produces minimal tracking force to help it operate smoothly with the drive mechanism.
- High-Resolution Moving Magnet Cartridge
- Developed in cooperation with Audio-Technica, the cartridge features a MicroLine stylus and comes precision-mounted on the tonearm.
