Product description Enhance the dialogue of your favorite movies and TV shows with the ELAC Uni-Fi UC5 Three-Way Center Channel Speaker. When paired with your amplifier or receiver, it will produce only the dialogue, while the rest of your speakers create the ambient sound effects. Its recommended amplifier power is 40 to 140W and features a 48 Hz to 25 kHz frequency response. The speaker consists of a 1" cloth dome tweeter concentrically mounted to a 4" aluminum cone midrange, plus two 5.25" aluminum cone woofers. It also features two rear-mounted, dual-flared bass ports for enhanced low-frequency reproduction. - Concentric Tweeter and Midrange
- Positioning the 1" soft-dome tweeter and aluminum 4" midrange cone concentrically helps achieve a uniform directivity pattern for flat frequency response and enhanced imaging for both on- and off-axis listening positions.
- Aluminum Woofers
- With aluminum, resonances that affect the linearity of paper cones can be placed beyond the driver's operating frequency range. An extended-size magnet with a vented pole piece is designed to increase power handling for accurate reproduction of bass frequencies that are clean and clear.
- Three-Way Crossover
- The three-way crossover is designed to ensure smooth transition between the drivers.
- Braced MDF Cabinet
- The internal bracing is designed to add stiffness and strength to the cabinet's MDF outer walls, helping to reduce cabinet vibration that causes unwanted coloration.
- Magnetically Attached Grille
- When the protective grille is removed, hidden magnets beneath the surface of the cabinet keep the front panel free of attachment holes for a clean appearance.
