Product description With a circuit design similar to that of the renowned Small Clone, the Bass Clone from Electro-Harmonix is a compact chorus pedal with added features intended for use with electric bass, such as a greater range of modulation and EQ controls to fine tune your sound. The Bass Clone can add a variety of modulation effects to the tone of your bass guitar, allowing you to imbue the high end of your signal with a slow, shallow, and shimmering chorus, or alternatively, providing the means to mangle the entirety of your bass timbre into bumblebee madness. Controls are not only provided for modulation depth and rate, but for bass, treble, and crossover as well, allowing you to sculpt your sound to a precise degree. At all times, the pedal blends your dry signal with the effect-enhanced signal. However, the bass knob will only affect the dry portion of the signal, while the treble knob will control the high-end frequency content of the entire signal path. The crossover switch cuts low end from the modulated signal to facilitate a tighter and more focused sound. In addition, true bypass circuitry ensures that in bypass mode, your signal is truly unaffected. The Bass Clone is a mono effect pedal with one 1/4” instrument input and one 1/4" instrument output. It runs on the included 9V battery, though it will also work with the separately available Electro-Harmonix 9.6DC-200BI power supply. - Controls at a Glance
