Product description The Clockworks Rhythm Generator/Synthesizer Pedal from Electro-Harmonix is a four-channel clock rhythm generator which can be used as a master clock for sequencers and drum machines, and to trigger electronic percussion products. Clockworks does not create sound on its own; it generates pulses to trigger other devices, and can set the tempo for a drum machine or sequencer. The pulses might directly play a device by triggering a sound or note in the external device.
The Clockworks takes a master clock and divides down its frequency by a whole number between one and eight, outputting a pulse at the new frequency created by the divider. There are four clock dividers or channels, each driven from the same master clock, which enables you to connect four devices which will all play rhythmically with each other. Each channel has its own clock divider control, output level control and output jack. The master clock can be generated internally by the Clockworks or may come from an outside source. The pedal is fully analog, and runs on the included 18 VDC/500 mA power supply. - Works as a master clock for sequencers and drum machines, and generates pulses to trigger devices like electronic percussion products
- Connect up to four devices to the four separate clock channels driven from the same master clock
- Is a reissue of the classic pedal made in the 1970s
