Product description The Deluxe Bass Big Muff Pi from Electro-Harmonix is a distortion/sustainer pedal which creates large sounding and versatile bass distortion. This pedal features seven knobs. The Volume knob works as a master volume for the entire pedal and is capable of boosting the input signal by 14 dB above unity gain, and obtains the right balance between bypass and effect. The Blend knob mixes between the dry and distorted signals. The Tone knob provides a range of sounds from high treble to deep bass on the distorted effect only.
The Sustain knob adjusts the amount of sustain and distortion. The Gate knob controls the input amplitude needed to open the noise gate, and removes unwanted hum. The HPF knob adjusts the cutoff frequency range of the high pass filter from 125 Hz to 1.75 kHz. And the LPF knob adjusts the cutoff frequency range of the low pass filter from 60 Hz to 10 kHz. The Deluxe Bass Big Muff also includes an Input toggle switch and Crossover and Bypass footswitches. This pedal has a DI output to connect directly to mixing consoles and recording equipment.
