Product description The HOG2 Harmonic Octave Generator / Guitar Synthesizer from Electro-Harmonics is both a guitar synthesizer and an octave and harmonic generator capable of simultaneously producing multiple octaves and harmonics from your input signal. Whether you play single notes, arpeggios, or full chords, the HOG2 will track every note you play. Built into the HOG2 are seven Expression Modes that enable you to modify your sounds using a standard expression pedal, a MIDI controller, or the Expression button on the HOG2. Further sound sculpting is achieved through an amplitude envelope generator and a 2nd-order low-pass resonant filter. An external expression pedal and a standard 9 VDC 200 mA power supply (same as used by Boss & Ibanez, 9.6 VDC 200 mA) are included with the unit. Note: The HOG2 requires 170 mA at 9 VDC with a center negative plug; using the wrong adapter may damage your unit and void the warranty. The HOG2 does not take batteries. - Algorithms improve the quality of the ten generated octaves and harmonics, as well as of the Freeze function
- Full MIDI control over all parameters and presets
- Master Volume for added control and convenience; volume levels are saved as part of a preset
- Ten controllable harmonic intervals, and seven expression modes (Bend 1 Octave, Bend 1 Step, Volume, Freeze + Gliss, Freeze + Volume, Wah Wah, and Filter)
- Freeze mode holds a note or chord so you can play over it or slide to new notes like a keyboardist playing portamento
- Amplitude envelope controls your attack or decay speeds
- Dedicated resonant filtering with sweepable frequency control
- Separate lower and upper harmonic amplitude envelopes
- Save and recall up to 100 preset programs with the optional foot controller
