Product description The Soul Preacher Compressor/Sustainer Pedal from Electro-Harmonix is a compact compressor and sustainer effect pedal with variable parameters allowing extreme or subtle adjustments of the dynamic qualities of your playing. Two knobs and one three-way toggle switch control the output volume, the depth of the effect, and the attack/decay characteristics of the effect. The preamp adds distortion which can be controlled from the guitar's volume level ahead of the compressor. The amount of distortion is level dependent. The Soul Preacher has a maximum gain reduction of 40 dB and a maximum gain of 46 dB. Its standard features allow the Soul Preacher to control the amount of sustain and the matching volume level, as well as the attack/decay. - Sustain control adjusts the amount of sustain

- Attack toggle switch provides 3 switch selectable settings of attack: fast, medium, and slow
- Fast attack gives an aggressive hit with about a 20 ms rise time, fast and musical

- Slow attack brings a musical 100 ms rise time for a softer
