Product description Announcing New Pedals from Electro-Harmonix Read More rxzaybaczz A faithful recreation of a classic 1979 unit, the Super Space Drum from Electro-Harmonix is an analog drum synth in a pedal housing. It creates a signal which you can trigger via the on-board push button or an external non-MIDI drum pad (available separately). Furthermore, you can manipulate that signal using a dedicated modulation section.
Whereas the Electro-Harmonix Crash Pad—a similar synthesis unit—reaches higher registers, the Super Space Drum gets tones as low as 20 Hz; as such, you can achieve kick drum and tom sounds from this unit. Frequency controls allow you to select how deep the resulting sound will be, while a Time knob controls how long it the note will sustain. With these parameters, you can create sounds from the natural to the alien with the twist of your fingers. - Auxiliary Input
- The Super Space Drum features an auxiliary input which allows you to gate external instruments through the pedal's trigger—either externally or through the push button; you can even sound this unit through (non-MIDI) sequencers and DAWs
