Product description The Electro-Voice 205-8T is a passive 4" 10W ceiling loudspeaker designed for voice amplification and background music reproduction in waiting rooms, offices, retail stores, and restaurants. The 8W multi-tap transformer allows the 205-8T to be driven by 8-Ohm or constant-voltage power amplifiers (available separately). Equipped with a 4" full-range driver, the 205-8T yields a frequency response of 90 Hz to 18 kHz, and a continuous power capacity of 10W (40W peak). Color-coded wiring enables easy tap selection and hookup to your power amp. The 205-8T may be front- or rear-mounted on 4" ceiling speaker baffles or in back enclosures. - For reproduction of speech and music in offices, retail stores, restaurants, and more

- Centrally mounted free-edge cone improves high-frequency dispersion
- 10W continuous (40W peak) power handling
- Pre-installed 8W transformer with taps of 1 to 8 watts allows connection to 70.7V or 100V power amplifiers
- Designed to fit on standard 4" ceiling speaker baffles
- Accommodates back enclosures with a diameter of 5.5" or greater and a depth of at least 4.5"
- Supports front- or rear-mounting against either surface of its mounting flange
- Color-coded wiring for easy tap selection
