Product description The Electro-Voice 309-8TWB is a passive 8" ceiling loudspeaker designed for voice amplification and background music reproduction in waiting rooms, offices, retail stores, and restaurants. The 8W multi-tap transformer allows the 309-8TWB to be driven by a 70V or 100V constant-voltage power amplifier (available separately). Equipped with an 8" woofer and a coaxially mounted tweeter, the 309-8TWB yields a frequency response of 85 Hz to 18 kHz, 16W power handling, and a maximum long-term output of over 108 dB SPL.A built-in 3 kHz crossover network ensures proper frequency distribution to the speaker components. Input connectivity via push terminals allows easy tap selection and straightforward hookup to your power amp. The 309-8TWB may be front- or rear-mounted to a standard ceiling speaker baffle. The 309-8TWB includes a pre-installed ceiling grille. - For reproduction of speech and music in offices, retail stores, restaurants, and more
