Product description Each of the Electro-Voice EVID C8.2 (White) is an 8" coaxial flush-mount installation speaker designed to work within a multi-unit system in a wide variety of ceiling construction types. The high output and high-quality, extended frequency reproduction of this speaker are effectively combined for use as a background music and paging solution for offices, waiting rooms and other similar spaces. The EVID C8.2 is equipped with a line-matching transformer for 70V/100V operation, and a transformer tap selector switch that includes 8 Ohm bypass operation, conveniently located on the front of the speaker. The enclosure is both ported and tuned, optimizing bass response, and the system is supplied with two speakers and a well-designed 3-point mounting system for simplified installation. - 8" coaxial 2-way installation speaker with extended frequency response and 70V/100V internal line-matching transformer
- High output speaker with extended frequency response for optimized reproduction of background music or paging/announcement requirements
- Full bandwidth overload protection circuitry; protects network, woofer and tweeter drivers from excessive power levels
- Waveguide coupled titanium tweeter for smooth high frequency dispersion
- Integrated low-loss line-matching transformer for 70V/100V or 8 Ohm bypass operation
- Front baffle wattage selector switch allows for 1.88(70V only)/3.75/7.5/15/30W delivery to loudspeaker system when using 70V/100V lines
- Integrated ported enclosure for optimized bass response
- Perforated grille speaker cover with powder-coated semigloss white enamel finish
