Product description - ND68 Dynamic Supercardioid Bass Drum Microphone
The ND68 Dynamic Supercardioid Bass Drum Microphone from Electro-Voice is a high-performance, large-diaphragm kick drum and low-frequency instrument microphone. It can be used to capture deep low-end audio and deliver a relaxed midrange, as well as high-frequency content in studio, live sound, and rehearsal applications. The microphone offers excellent isolation from other nearby instruments and has a 20 Hz to 11 kHz frequency response. The ND68 capsule contains a large Mylar diaphragm, which delivers a detailed frequency response by combining a large surface area for tonal balance with its low-mass material. It is capable of handling 144 dB SPL and is comfortable managing close applications of high sound sources. In addition, the capsule uses a humbucking coil that attenuates AC hum and electromagnetic interference. The Memraflex grille is made of a durable tight-mesh grille wire that withstands rough treatment. A gig bag, a stand clip, and a euro thread adapter are also included. - Acoustic Isolation
