Product description The Electro-Voice PolarChoice podium microphones provide the flexibility and sonic quality needed to capture speech in any application. The PolarChoice series gooseneck microphones feature a dual capsule design that provides four user switchable polar patterns. Omnidirectional, cardioid, super-cardioid and hyper-cardioid are all selectable and provide the flexibility to perform in highly ambient environments or in applications where a generous pick up area is desired.The PC Plus-18 flush mounted gooseneck microphone measures 18-inches (457mm) in length and features a standard 5/8"-27 thread mount for adapting to standard microphone stands, the included mounting flange or the included shock mount and adapter. The external, cylindrical output stage / preamplifier is terminated with a standard 3-pin male XLR connection. The cable can be configured to exit at the bottom or side of the gooseneck enabling flexible installation into podiums.The PolarChoice series gooseneck microphones are at home in houses-of-worship, auditoriums, board rooms, conference halls, etc. - Flush Mount
- The PC Plus-18 gooseneck microphones feature a 5/8"-27 threaded mount for mounting onto standard microphone stands or included flange and shock mount hardware.
- Switchable Polar Patterns
- The PolarChoice series gooseneck microphones feature a dual capsule design capable of omnidirectional, cardioid, super-cardioid and hyper-cardioid polar patterns.
- Low-Frequency Roll-Off
- The low-frequency roll-off filter eliminates unwanted low-frequency noise due to vibration, wind, proximity effect, etc.
- Side or Bottom Cable Exit
- The attached cable can be easily configured for bottom or side exit.
- External Preamplifier
- The external cylindrical power supply / preamplifier provides the 3-pin XLR termination and provides phantom power to the capsule.
