Product description The black RE90 from Electro-Voice is a low-profile cardioid boundary microphone with a sensitivity and frequency response suitable for distance learning centers, teleconferencing systems, board rooms, court rooms etc. The full range condenser microphone features a frequency response of 80 Hz to 15 kHz, placing emphasis on frequencies that accentuate the human voice while minimizing low frequency noise and rumble.The half-cardioid polar pattern effectively minimizes off-axis audio signal and eliminates audio signal at the rear of the microphone. In addition, the half-cardioid polar pattern provides high gain before feedback and minimizes ambient noise. With an SPL rating of 125 dB, the RE90 is more than capable of reproducing excessively loud signals without distortion. The microphone is powered via 9-52 V phantom power source and features unterminated +/-/Ground screw terminal connections. - Half-Cardioid Pick Up Pattern
- The half-cardioid pick up pattern enhances range while reducing ambient noise and feed-back at off-axis sections of the capsule.
- High SPL and Dynamic Range
- With an SPL rating of 125 dB and Dynamic Range of 102 dB, the RE90B is capable of reproducing transient and distant signals accurately, without distortion.
- Unobtrusive Design
- The low-profile unobtrusive design of the RE90B makes it suitable for use in broadcast situations, court rooms, board rooms, etc.
