Product description The Tour X Series 500W 18" Subwoofer from Electro-Voice offers pro-quality bass reinforcement, and is suitable for use with the TX1122 and TX1152 full-range loudspeakers. This subwoofer is optimized for portable and fixed installation applications, such as clubs, professional studios, and concerts. It uses a high-excursion EVS-18S low-frequency transducer to ensure plenty of impact with ultralow distortion. It has 500W of continuous (2,000W peak) output power for strong, thumping bass. The subwoofer can be connected in parallel with a full-range speaker without the need for an additional amplifier and processor, thanks to a built-in low-pass filter. The braced plywood and MDF enclosure is coated with EVCoat for maximum protection from the elements. - Tour-class performance in a portable package
