Product description Combining their original Singing for Dummies software program and the Level 2 version, eMedia Music's downloadable Singing For Dummies Deluxe provides over 170 interactive, easy-to-follow lessons that teach you how to sing or improve your voice. Whether you're just getting started or have some experience under your belt, this course can benefit you. Professional singer and voice teacher Ory Brown, M.M., brings 25 years of teaching and performance experience to the table, including appearances at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, and on The Late Show with David Letterman.
Vocal exercises and songs for both males and females in high and low ranges are included. Enjoy over 75 songs in multiple styles, including hits from legends Diana Ross and John Lennon.
You'll learn to sing in tune, project from your diaphragm, and enunciate the lyrics you're singing. Gain an understanding of both physical and musical techniques that will improve your voice. The software's Interactive Feedback technology listens to you sing via the microphone you supply, and shows you whether you're singing in tune. Performance Evaluation tracks pitch and rhythm as you move through a song, using color-coded notes to indicate places where you sang flat, sharp, or on point. You are then given an overall score to help you keep track of your progress. - Over 170 interactive, full-screen vocal lessons that teach you how to do the following:

- Sing higher notes
- Breathe with proper technique
- Support your voice from your diaphragm
- Improve vocal tone
- Hold long notes
- Understand and use chest/diaphragm, head (falsetto), and mixed voices

- Interactive Feedback technology listens to your singing using an optional microphone plugged into the computer, then shows you the notes you're singing on screen. Color coding indicates whether you're on or off the mark for each note, with correct notes being highlighted in green, and an arrow shows whether you need to sing higher or lower to correct an inaccurate note
- Performance Evaluation shows you spots where you sang flat, sharp, or in tune, and grades your overall performance (including rhythms) for an entire piece
- Learn sight reading and train your ear with interactive flash cards and review quizzes
- Great songs in a variety of styles, including "Imagine" by John Lennon, "Dancing in the Street," "Stop!
