Product description The Emes QUARTZ speakers are a matched, active pair near-field studio monitors, featuring a 6" woofer and a 1" ferrofluid-cooled dome tweeter, powered by dual 80W amplifiers and housed in a compact, uniquely designed cabinet. The QUARTZ speakers are ported to ensure even HF dispersion over a distance of up to 8', and are secured with ISO-Rails, an innovative system of silicon-profile isolating rails on the interior enclosure bottom, which act as a buffer, minimizing interior surface rumble and reflections for a tight, consistent low end reproduction. Affordable yet precisely engineered, the QUARTZ speakers are a worthy solution for professional project, commercial or broadcast studio environments. - 6" polypropylene woofer powered by 80W
1" dome Ferro-fluid-cooled tweeter with Neodymium magnet powered by 80W - Bi-Port bass reflex tweeter surround for woofer airflow cooling of tweeter and "velocity field" ring-shaped HF dispersion pattern over distance for precise, even arrival time of stereo image
- Silicon-profile ISO-Rails secure speakers, negate surface coupling for tight bass response, minimized aberrant rumble and reflection in cabinet interior
