Product description The EL-500 Rack from Empirical Labs is a two channel API-500 series horizontal rack in a 1U sized rackmount enclosure. The rack features a quiet power supply and offers both XLR and phone rear panel inputs and outputs. In addition, a 1/4" instrument preamp/direct box input is provided on the front panel. Once a cable is inserted to the font jack, the unit will automatically switch the left 500 module's input. Switches to link compressors and engage a 48V phantom supply are also provided. The EL-500 ships with a standard IEC power cord. -
