Product description With long range connectivity and a rugged, durable housing, the DURAFON-PRO-HC Expansion Handset from EnGenius is suitable for use in a variety of environments. The phone supports up to 6 hours of talk time and up to 50 hours of standby time on a single charge and can be used as a cordless phone or 2-way communication device. With intercom mode you can chat directly with another DuraFon while background chatter is eliminated from the conversation. Broadcast mode allows for important messages or emergency bulletins to be delivered to one handset or to a group of handsets simultaneously. When the battery begins to drain hot swappable charging allows for the battery to be charged while the call is on hold. - Intercom Mode
- Independent of the base unit, group chatter is undetectable and the device includes push to talk capabilities, keeping conversations private.
- Rugged Housing with Durable Design
- The DuraFon Pro features a tested, rugged housing specifically designed for work in industrial environments. This phone has also been drop tested for durability in a variety of environments.
- Broadcasting
- Sends direct announcements to all handsets, or a group of handsets for emergencies and company wide messages.
- Line Broadcast
- With line broadcast the DuraFon is capable of broadcasting through L3 or L4.
- Battery Hot Swapping
- With battery hot swapping the battery can be charged while the call is on hold.
