Product description With dual-band connectivity and maximum data throughput of up to 1167 Mbps, the EWS650AP Neutron Series 11ac Outdoor Managed Access Point from EnGenius offers a stable, reliable Wi-Fi connection. Operating on both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequency, this access point lets users connect to the less congested 5 GHz frequency for bandwidth intensive tasks. Integrated band steering will automatically move client connections back and forth between frequencies to free up bandwidth and provide a better network experience for all users. With an IP55-rated waterproof and dustproof housing the EWS650AP can be installed in a variety of locations to provide network access to users over long distances with 27 dBm transmit power on the 2.4 GHz frequency and 26 dBm transmit power on the 5 GHz frequency. - High Performance for Today's Demanding Applications
- The Neutron EWS650AP features expanded capacity and fast 11ac speeds to 867 Mbps on 5 GHz and to 300 Mbps on the 2.4 GHz band. Wireless users with 802.11ac laptops, tablets and other devices, who need to stream HD video or transfer large files will find this powerful Access Point not only affordable, but more than up to those high-bandwidth tasks.
- Dual-Band Functionality
- Featuring Dual-Band concurrent wireless coverage, the EWS650AP supports expanded user capacity, enabling 2.4 GHz and newer 5 GHz devices to simultaneously connect for maximum speed and performance. Band Steering automatically shifts Dual-Band clients to the less congested 5 GHz band, greatly optimizing overall bandwidth traffic on the network.
- High-Performance Reception, Long Range, Multi-Floor Penetration
- The EWS650AP is designed to operate in a variety of outdoor environments while supporting demanding business applications, making its high-powered, long-range coverage a cost-effective alternative to other Outdoor 11ac Access Points that don't have the range or capacity to support a growing number of outdoor wireless users needing to connect to the network.
