Product description The BrightEye 55 Genlock Sync Generator & Test-Signal Generator from Ensemble Designs is a sync generator and test signal generator that can be used as a slave or master reference generator. The unit can lock to a house reference signal or its own internal precision standard. It features an HD tri-level sync output, which provides reference to high-definition equipment such as VTRs, disc recorders and workstations. Format options includes 720p, 1080i, 1080sF, and 1080p. The unit's SDI and analog composite outputs feature a number of signals, including but not limited to: color black, bars, crosshatch, multiburst, and SDI checkfield (pathological) signals. An ID slate with user programmable text can overlay test patterns. The generator also includes a Cyclops features that adds a motion element to the video test signal, a feature well suited to live applications. Audio functionality includes AES3id digital-audio, analog-audio, and embedded-audio reference outputs. Front-panel controls allow you to adjust many of this models parameters. The unit can also be controlled through the BrightEye software package that is included with the unit and compatible with both Windows and Mac platforms.
