Product description The BrightEye 74 Optical Disembedder with HD/SD Electrical Output from Ensemble Designs is an audio disembedder that features (8) channels, and is designed to extract audio from 1.5Gbs high-definition or 270Mbs standard-definition video signals. Digital video output is made via a BNC connection and is either HD-SDI or SD-SDI, depending on the input standard. The audio signals extracted from the incoming video are delivered as standard AES digital audio streams.
This unit features an 8-channel audio mixer with channel swap and shuffle functionality, allowing you to completely revamp and mix your audio. It also includes up to 12dB of gain to compensate for low level sources and an adjustable delay of up to one second. Audio processing is performed at 24-bit resolution by a digital signal processor. Additionally, a data mode allows you to disembed Dolby E or AC3 signals.
