Product description The BrightEye 90-F HD Up-, Down-, Cross- & ARC-Converter with AES Audio and Optical Output from Ensemble Designs is a converter that can be used to up-convert, down-convert, or cross-convert analog and digital video signals. The unit can also perform aspect-ratio conversion. A built in frame synchronizer allows you to input asynchronous signals, and an external reference input allows for genlock to a house reference. The unit will faithfully pass all vertical interval data and closed captioning information. This model features an optical output, which allows for transmission distances up to 12.42 miles.
This unit also handles embedded audio and discreet AES digital audio streams. It will support up to (16) channels of embedded audio, safely bypassing it around video processing. Two of the four embedded audio groups are available for mixing. The AES input-output ports can be configured for (8) channels of incoming or outgoing audio. The mixer can also be used with AES channels.
The front panel interface offers control of input selection, gain control, and test patterns, among other parameters. The unit can also be controlled through the BrightEye software package that is included with the unit and compatible with both Windows and Mac platforms. LEDs on the front panel provide a visual indicator of channel status. Note: Please note that a power supply is not included with the unit and must be purchased separately. - Analog & Digital Video Conversion
