Product description The gray Light Weapon Thermal Sight (LWTS) from EOTech is a multi-purpose thermal imager featuring an uncooled Ultra VOx thermal detector that captures 640x480 17µm resolution images. By distinguishing slight differences in the heat of objects within the field of view, thermal imagers are capable of seeing through smoke, fog, and dust—day or night.EOTech equipped the LWTS with a range of image adjustment functions that allow the operator to optimize the transmitted image for their targeting or recording task. In addition to Black Hot and White Hot modes, the sight features an automatic gain control system for image optimization. Four reticle patterns, each selectable in black or white, allows the operator to select a display that maximizes contrast and reticle visibility against the thermal landscape.The LWTS can be used hand-held or mounted on any Picatinny rail system and can be placed on a firearm in a stand-alone configuration or used in-line with a magnified day optic. Also, an RS-170 Real Time Video In/Out capability allows remote viewing of the thermal image. - Imaging Performance
