Product description The DVI2USB 3.0 Video Grabber from Epiphan is an external capture card lets you capture uncompressed video and images from DVI, VGA, or non-HDCP protected HDMI devices on your computer over USB 3.0 in resolutions up to 1080p and 1920 x 1200. It also supports simultaneous capture of stereo digital HDMI audio. An included driver allows for extensive configuration of color space conversion, image scaling, and audio re-sampling for maximum flexibility in video capture settings. For a ready-to-use package, a DVI cable, a DVI to VGA adapter cable, and a DVI to HDMI adapter are included, as well as a USB 3.0 cable.
Small enough to fit into your pocket, the DVI2USB 3.0 is easy to transport between locations and integrate into existing systems. It is self-powered through the USB port, therefore no external power source is required. It has a capture rate of at least 60 frames per second in YUV 4:2:0 color format when connected to a USB 3.0 host. Video and images captured by DVI2USB 3.0 can be seamlessly integrated with third party video encoding, scaling, and streaming software. Video can also be captured using Epiphan's own capture tool software, which can be downloaded from their website with purchase of the DVI2USB 3.0. - Flexible Video Input
- The DVI port will capture uncompressed DVI, VGA, and non-HDCP protected HDMI signals, including embedded audio from HDMI sources with the included adapters.
- USB 3.0 Interface
- The USB 3.0 data uplink is capable of transferring uncompressed video to your computer or laptop in 1080p and 1920x1200 resolutions at 60 fps. USB 2.0 uplink is also supported.
- Video Output
- The frame rate is independent of the captured content; slow moving video and fast moving video is all captured at the same rate. With no compression, DVI2USB 3.0 captures and transfers every pixel of the frame.
- Capture Control
- Driver software lets you control how DVI2USB 3.0 records images and video with color space settings, image scaling, and audio resampling. You can record captured images as a series of consecutively saved graphic files or as one video file.
- Epiphan Video Capture Tool & Drivers
- The DVI2USB 3.0 comes with Epiphan's video capture tool and drivers which provide a seamless interface to a wide range of industry-standard encoding and streaming software.
