Product description Epson Reveals 13" Wide Expression Photo HD XP-15000 Printer Read More Produce ultra high definition photos with the Expression Photo HD XP-15000 Inkjet Printer from Epson. More compact than its predecessor, this highly advanced printer is able to fit on your desk and then create images up to 13" wide and 44" long. Also, it uses a six-color Claria Photo HD ink set that includes a red and gray ink for a wider gamut and smoother gradations. Images are sharp and highly detailed as well, thanks to a 5760 x 1440 dpi resolution. For more general printing needs, as one might have in a home office, the printer can work quickly with print speeds of 9.2 ppm in black and 9 ppm in color.
A couple methods are available for media handling, making it easy to work with standard printer paper and more specialized photographic media. This includes a 50-sheet rear feed that can handle thicker paper types as well as a 200-sheet front tray that supports automatic duplexing. The output tray has an auto open/close function and users can print directly to CDs and DVDs as well. This unit is very easy to use with a clear 2.4" color LCD screen displaying status and an easy-access USB port for direct printing. Additionally, while more conventional USB 2.0 and Ethernet connections are present, the XP-15000 features built-in Wi-Fi for a wireless setup and access to many mobile printing protocols. - Using drop-on-demand MicroPiezo inkjet technology with a six-color Claria Photo HD ink set that features gray and red inks, the XP-15000 is able to create sharp, vivid imagery with resolutions up to 5760 x 1440 dpi.
- Printing is quite fast, with speeds of up to 9.2 ppm in black and 9 ppm in color. Also, a 4 x 6" borderless photo can be created in just 27 seconds when using the Draft Mode.
- Via a 200-sheet front tray users can perform automatic duplexing at speeds up to 4.7 ppm.
- Specialized media can be inserted into the 50-sheet rear tray which has support for prints up to 13 x 44" in size, including borderless printing up to 13 x 19".
- Mobile printing is available through various protocols, including Epson Connect Solutions which offers Epson E-mail Print, Epson Remote Print, the Epson iPrint App for iOS and Android, and the Creative Print App for iOS and Android. Other services supported include Apple AirPrint, Google Cloud Print, Android printing, Fire OS printing, and Mopria Print Service.
