Product description In order to run the RIP on Mac OS X 10.8 or later or use the PANTONE Plus color libraries with your Designer Edition printer Epson has made the Fiery EFI eXpress 4.5 Upgrade Kit available on a DVD. It requires an original EFI Activation Code permanent license and a dongle from version 4.x in order to be installed.
The software features a redesigned user interface along with complete support for Epson's professional media. It features Adobe PostScript 3 and PDF Print Engine 2.5 for maximum compatibility with other design software. There is also advanced CMYK and RBG color matching, PANTONE PLUS Series and Advanced SPOT color management, IDEAlliance and Ugra/Fogra standard control strips, and support for RGB data formats. Users can enjoy improved productivity with the use of contact sheets and customizable templates and quality is ensured due to the incorporation of Epson AccuPhoto HD and HDR screening technologies. Additionally, EFI eXpress has automatic and manual job collections to get the most out of your media and can use hot folders and virtual printer for your workgroup. It is compatible with Windows and Mac computers and can automatically receive updates over the internet. - Compatible Printers
