Product description Scan important documents and receipts on the go with the WorkForce ES-55R Portable Document Scanner from Epson. Bundled with ScanSmart Accounting Edition Software, Epson makes it easy to scan, organize, review, email, and save important documents and files. Equipped with smart scanning capabilities and premium accounting features, you can automatically extract data from receipts and export to QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop, TurboTax, or Excel. With the included Nuance OCR software, you have the ability to create searchable PDFs and editable Word and Excel files, and automatic feeding mode allows you to feed multiple sheets into the scanner while combining multi-page scans into one file. Additionally, the unit features an optical resolution of 600 dpi for detailed image capture, and it scans ID cards, receipts, letter-size sheets, and documents up to 8.5 x 72". Single page scanning is as fast as 5.5 seconds for letter-size paper, and for multi-page jobs it has a scan speed of 10 ppm at 300 dpi when working with 8.5 x 11" sheets of paper. For added convenience the ES-55R is powered by the included USB cable when connected to your computer, and no other battery or external power supply is required. -
