Product description The Home Hearing Test from Etymotic Research comes with a set of calibrated earphones and a precision-matched sound card that ensure accuracy of the test on any Windows-based computer. The HHT earphones have special orange filters that smooth the frequency response and prevent earwax from entering the earphones.
The HHT is designed for hearing tests in non-traditional healthcare facilities. The test establishes baseline hearing levels, and enables you to check your hearing status over time, as well as check your hearing after exposure to excessive noise. The Home Hearing Test determines when hearing should be checked by a licensed hearing professional, but does not identify the cause of hearing loss or determine what the treatment should be.
