Product description The SC3010 from EVE Audio is a three-way active main monitor designed for recording and mastering studios, film and television post-production facilities, cinema applications and in-wall installations. Equipped with three amplifiers--which combine for a short-term total output of 1000W to power its 10" woofer, 5" mid-range driver and AMT RS6 tweeter--the SC3010 is designed to offer maximum headroom with minimal distortion.
To increase efficiency, the SC3010's custom-made 10" SilverCone woofer provides bass frequency response down to 30 Hz, while the 5" mid-range driver extends up through 1800 Hz. The SC3010 also makes use of the proprietary AMT RS6 HF driver, which uses a large front plate and internal magnet to drive the tweeter with greater efficiency.
For flexible positioning, the silver module located in the middle of the speaker that houses the mid-range woofer and the tweeter can be rotated 90-degrees, allowing the speakers to be positioned either horizontally or vertically. This helps to preserve control room sight lines and may further optimize acoustic performance.
The SC3010 also features both balanced XLR inputs and unbalanced RCA inputs for flexible connectivity, and a selector knob on the front that gives access to volume control and filter settings to help you tailor your monitors to the way you work. - DSP
