Product description The SC408 from EVE Audio is a four-way active studio monitor for your home or professional studio. Equipped with four amplifiers with a short-term total output of 600W to power its two 8" woofers, 5" mid-range driver and AMT RS3 tweeter, the SC408 is designed to offer maximum headroom with minimal distortion.
To increase efficiency, the SC408's custom-made dual 8" SilverCone woofers provide bass frequency response from 30 to 250 Hz, while the 5" mid-range driver extends up through 3000 Hz. The SC408 also makes use of the proprietary AMT RS3 HF driver, which uses a large front plate and internal magnet to drive the tweeter with greater efficiency.
The SC408 also features both balanced XLR inputs and unbalanced RCA inputs for flexible connectivity, and a selector knob on the front that gives access to volume control and filter settings to help you tailor your monitors to the way you work. - DSP
- One push knob operation gives access to DSP-based volume control and filter settings via high quality A/D converter (24bit/192 kHz) from Burr-Brown
- Bass Port Design
- Large rear rectangular port with no hard edges for high efficiency on lower frequencies
