Product description Based on the company's Orville and Eclipse flagship hardware effect processors, the Eventide Quadravox is a harmonizer plug-in, which provides time-based, diatonic pitch-shifting with up to four voices. It allows songwriters, musicians, and producers to create harmonies and rhythmic sequences based on a chosen key, scale, and timing interval, on monophonic sources like vocals, guitar solos, and synths, or with the Pitch Tracking mode "off", on polyphonic instruments such as drums.Quadravox features a clear and easy-to-navigate, single-window GUI. At the center of it is the Notation Grid, which presents pitches on a traditional music staff, with a quantized grid for placing notes over time. An integrated mixer allows you to quickly adjust the level, panning, delay time with feedback, and pitch for each voice individually. The Snapshot functions let you store, recall, and automate up to 32 user-created presets. The Quadravox ships with over 60 factory presets, from micro pitch shifters and vocal thickeners to arpeggiated delays, stacked harmonies, and crazy sci-fi multi-effects. - Key Features
-
- Derived from Eventide Orville and Eclipse flagship hardware effect processors
- Time-based, diatonic pitch-shifting with up to four voices

- Randomize function randomizes an amount of micro pitch shift resulting in simulation of natural character for each of the 4 voices
- Pitch Tracking turns off the pitch detection when using plug-in on non-pitched or polyphonic instruments—ideal for drum tracks
- Effects can be sync'd to your DAW tempo
- Snapshots allow you to quickly store, recall, and automate up to 32 presets
- Complete automation support for Snapshots
- Mix Lock keeps the wet/dry mix of the effect static as you scroll through presets or user-defined Snapshots
- Key Lock keeps the key and scale static as you scroll through presets or user-defined Snapshots
- Live Mode allows you to use the plug-in in real time, without the 40ms latency it produces by default
- Optimized for multiple instances
- Includes more than 60 presets
- Notation Grid
-
- Notation Grid presents pitches on a traditional music staff, with a quantized grid for placing notes over time
- Offers a unique and musical approach to creating harmonies and rhythmic sequences
- As each voice is enabled, it is represented on the grid by an oval note graphic with a corresponding number
- By clicking and dragging the oval, the note can be placed anywhere on the grid
- The vertical position reflects the voice's pitch-shift amount, relative to the selected key
- The note's horizontal position reflects the delay time for that voice
- Color and brightness indicate pan and level for each voice
- I/O Formats
-
- Use on either mono or stereo channels, although it is a mono-input effect
- When using it to process stereo audio sources, the plug-in mono-sums the stereo inputs
- The plug-in always produces a stereo output, converting a mono channel into a stereo channel
