Product description This version of the Evertz Microsystems 7881DEC-H264HD H.264/AVC Decoder includes a 3RU back plate for the 7800FR frame.
As the broadcast landscape continues to evolve, the need for a higher class of compression encoder that uses the latest in compression technology becomes more relevant to the overall success of the operation. The Evertz 7881DEC-H264HD(7881DEC) video contribution decoder is designed to satisfy this requirement--when paired with the 7881ENC-H264HD professional encoder.
This module has been designed for high quality, low latency compression of HD/SD-SDI video and audio signals over any transport network, including IP/MPLS, satellite and sonet. The decoder is equipped with an enhanced H.264/AVC (MPEG-4 Part 10) video compression engine designed to deliver high quality video with low latency--as low as 100 ms end to end.
The decoder also includes a dedicated control port that offers a built-in web server for quick and easy configuration, including true SNMP control from the VistaLINK NMS when paired with a frame controller. - H.264/AVC compression engine with up to eight channels of audio
- Simultaneous IP and ASI outputs
- As low as 100 ms low latency contribution
- SCTE104 to 35 for digital program insertion
- Support for BISS 0/1/E scrambling encryption
- Full integration with Compression System Manager software
- Web browser interface and/or SNMP for configuration and control
