Product description The SuperNOVA 850G2 850W Power Supply from EVGA is designed with the computer enthusiast in mind and to provide clean, continuous power to every component. The fully modular design provides custom cable configurations for any application and due to the near silent fan, the SuperNOVA 850G2 reduces heat during heavy load while keeping the decibel level down. Also, the EVGA Eco Thermal Control switch allows the fan to stop spinning for silent operation when it is not needed during low to medium load. The SuperNOVA 850G2 is both SLI and Crossfire ready, providing stable and efficient power to fuel your hardware, regardless of the platform. The SuperNOVA 850G2 comes with a 10-year limited warranty and has a MTBF rating of up to 100,000 hours. - Stable Power
- The SuperNOVA 850G2 provides reliable performance with ultra stable voltage and clean power output. This allows you to achieve high overclocking speeds (optional) and provide stable and reliable power to all components in your computer. The SuperNOVA 850G2 also provides up to 90% efficiency and is 80 PLUS GOLD certified.
- Dual Thermal Control System
- The EVGA ECO Intelligent Thermal Control System provides silent operation at low loads, improved efficiency, and a longer life span of the internal fan. Enabled by a simple switch directly on the power supply, the "No Fan Spin" feature is ideal for users looking to reduce overall ambient noise.
- Protection
- The SuperNOVA 850G2 comes equipped with comprehensive protection, including Over Voltage Protection (OVP), Under Voltage Protection (UVP), Over Power Protection (OPP), Short Circuit Protection (SCP), and Over Current Protection (OCP). The SuperNOVA 850G2 is also covered by a 10-year limited warranty as well as EVGA's customer service and support.

- Using 100% Japanese capacitors, which are rated at 105°C, and high quality semiconductor components, the SuperNOVA 850G2 provides high performance and durability. The Ultra Quiet 140 mm double ball bearing fan provides adequate cooling to allow for near silent operation when it's not needed and proper cooling during heavy load operation.
- Modular Design
- The modular design reduces clutter in the computer case, improves ambient temperature with better airflow, and provides a clean look in any system.
