Product description The titan gray colored Hurricane Hood Rain Cape from Ewa-Marine is a hermetically sealed protective housing for ENG cameras. It provides protection against rain and water jets, while allowing free access to the camera. The cape does not have any stitches or seams, so it keeps out moisture completely, and is joined by a strong high-frequency welding. The lens is protected with a removable optical glass. The special, patented Ewa-Marine adapter system secures the lens to the housing's front port (made from special, hardened, optical glass). The adapter system includes the AR77-82mm Reduction Adapter and ARS82 (for 82mm filter thread) and ARS95 (for 95mm filter thread) system rings. - All functions of the camera can be operated either from outside or by inserting the hands into the hood from below
- The material is watertight and, with the exception of the transparent sections, is fiber reinforced
- Joints are not stitched, but welded in the high-frequency machinery
- Recommended operating temperature from 0 to 158°F (-18 to 70°C)
- Included adapter system secures the lens to the housing's front port so that there is no chance of the hood moving over the lens
- Adapter set includes an AR77-82mm Reduction Adapter and system rings ARS82 (for 82mm filter thread) and ARS95 (for 95mm filter thread) 1
Please Note: System-ring ARS94 for a 94mm filter thread is also available separately. close - Supplied adapters ensure that the lens can be turned freely without twisting the cape
- Optical front port is made from hardened, optical glass and offers spray-protection for the lens; if required, the port can be removed quickly
- Viewfinder is sealed by means of an elastic cuff and extends to the outside of the cape; it can be moved up and down easily
- Rain and sunshield supplied with the cape protects the front lens and port and is fully adjustable and removable
- Tapes and batteries can be changed quickly
