Product description The VAF1 Underwater Housing from Ewa-Marine enables you to shoot at or beneath the water's surface with your Panasonic AG-AF101/AF100E/AF102/AF105 professional HD camcorder. It has a depth rating of 32.8'. All camcorder controls are accessible through the double-laminated PVC, and there's even a dedicated section for the flip-out monitor, which can swivel 90° in the housing. The VAF1 features an optically neutral flat glass lens port and also includes 49, 52, 58, and 62mm filter thread adapters to accommodate lenses of various diameters. These adapters allow you to attach the front of the lens to the interior of the port to keep it in place.
A pair of corrosion-resistant clamping rails fit together and can be tightened via knurled thumb screw knobs to give the housing a secure, waterproof seal. Straps at the bottom allow weights to be attached for ideal buoyancy. Additionally, a convenient carrying case with a waterproof interior and zippered side pocket is included. An initial supply of drying agent CD5 helps prevent the buildup of moisture in the housing.
Also included is enough foam padding to fill up any extra space inside the housing, in order to provide a snug fit and prevent your camcorder from bouncing around. The foam will most likely be necessary only when shooting above the water's surface, because underwater, the water pressure will compress the housing and get rid of excess space. - Depth Rating
