Product description The silver Explore Scientific 8x50 Erect Image Illuminated Polar Finder Scope (Angled Viewing) is an illuminated finder scope that offer right-side-up and left-to-right corrected views for ease of use when attached to a telescope. This model features an illuminated eyepiece at a 90° angle from the scope for comfortable viewing. Also, the deep red illumination is variable and can be turned off via a knob.
The Polar finder scope has Northern and Southern polar reference markings that allow for quick and precise alignments when used in conjunction with an equatorial mount due to an easy to use polar alignment crosshair reticle. Both the eyepiece and main objective can be focused for comfort to your eyes as well. Additionally, it produces a 7° field of view and has multi-coated optics for maintaining contrast. The scope includes a quick release bracket with dual rings and a dovetail foot for taking it off or putting on a telescope as well as batteries for powering the illumination.
