Product description Purpose-designed for their large 10" and 12" truss-tube telescopes, the Explore Scientific Dobsonian Shroud covers the open portion of the assembly to block peripheral exterior and reflected interior light which can interfere with light transmission to the mirrors to produce higher contrast views and sharper images during astrophotography. Constructed of a lightweight and breathable black Lycra/Spandex fabric, it has elastic ends to help hold the shroud tightly in-place around the truss tubes.
