Product description Explore the microworld using the 20x Micro Stereo Microscope from Explore One. This 20x magnifying tool offers stereo imagery that is ideal for examining minerals, gems, insects, electronic boards, or collectibles. To help you with your task, the microscope offers a pillar type configuration, where the stereo head is attached to the pillar of the base. This construction allows plenty of space for placing larger samples for examination. The base offers a sample plate and two pre-loaded clips for securing your specimens. For adjusting working distance and focus, use the two oversized coaxial knobs on the sides of the pillar back. To ensure that your samples are well illuminated, and that you get a bright and clear view, the microscope also provides a top LED illumination source that is powered by two user-supplied AA batteries. To help explorers get started right away, the microscope also includes 12 mineral samples.
