Product description Help young explorers discover the world around them using the 900x 28-Piece Microscope Kit from Explore One. This comprehensive beginner's microscope kit includes a compound microscope, a carry case, and a multitude of accessories to get kids started on their learning path. The compact, lightweight, and ergonomic microscope features a straight viewing configuration with 5x, 20x, and 45x objectives and a 10x-20x zoom eyepiece that combine to produce up to a 900x magnification power. While the samples can be placed on a square stage with two holding clips and illuminated with the bottom LED/mirror illuminator, the young observers can switch objectives on the turning nosepiece to change to a magnification that best suits their needs. For convenience and ergonomics, the viewing angle can be changed by readjusting the angle of the scope's back. The square sample stage also features a filter wheel underneath for contrasting specimen slides with filters of different colors. This portable cordless microscope is powered by two user-supplied AA batteries and has an arched back that can be used as a carry handle. To offer a comprehensive learning experience, the kit also includes a carry case and multiple accessories to provide a well-rounded educational experience.
