The medium sized Explorer case is manufactured from a copolymer polypropylene compound and is 100% made in Italy, where detail is paid to designing its jam-free purge valves and latches.
The 5122 includes a black Bag-B padded bag, which features internal adjustable padded dividers for flexible configuration, and the Panel-51 lid, which adds additional secure protection for gear stored in the case. The Bag-B is engineered to be a durable padded bag, is outfitted with a rubber coated handle, and a strengthened zipper with a lockable touch-fastener pull zipper. It includes a useful external front pouch for documents, a removable shoulder strap, and rubber feet on the bottom to grant better grip. Additionally, the lid can be set to slide off when it is opened to 70 degrees.
