Product description The Robotholic from F-Pedals is a flexible modulator boost drive pedal capable of a wide range of dirty analog sounds. The pedal features Mix, Pitch, Rate, and Drive knob controls, and a Lo-Fi (high-pass filter) switch, which allow you to precisely dial in your distortion/ringmod style effect. The Robotholic offers a true-bypass circuit and an LED status indicator. Plug in an optional external expression pedal to control the modulation rate with your foot while playing. The enclosure is made from an aluminum body with a plastic bottom to allow for optional wireless power technology. The pedal can also be powered from an optional 9-18 VDC adapter. -
- Mix Control: Sets the amount of Robot effect added to the source sound. Has a center detent to indicate the middle position. Also has a built-in LED light to indicate on/off status of the pedal
- Set Mix to minimum (counterclockwise) to have no Robot Effect – In this mode, Pitch and Rate controls are disabled
- Set Mix and Drive to minimum (counterclockwise) for a clean/slightly driven boost
- Set Mix to minimum and use the Drive control to adjust the amount of distortion
- Rotate Mix clockwise to progressively add Robot Effect
- Pitch Control: Adds a Pitch Shift Effect when Rate is set to max (clockwise)
- As Rate decreases from the maximum setting, Pitch becomes a fine-tune control of the modulation speed
- Lo-Fi Control (High-Pass Filter): Turn on Lo-Fi (switch down) at anytime to add a “Vintage Speaker Effect”
- Rate Control: Sets the speed of Robot Effect Modulation. This pot will be disabled when an External Expression Pedal (not included) is connected to the FXP input connector located on the left panel
- Drive Control: Sets the amount of distortion added to the source sound
- True-Bypass Foot Switch: Turns the pedal On/Off
