Product description The Saturn from FabFilter is a saturation software plug-in for Mac or Window computers that features sixteen different distortion styles with multiband processing. It can be used in several environments for audio applications such as recording studios, post production houses, DJ setups, and more. It features over 150 preset distortion models inspired by the vintage sound of tubes, tape, and guitar amps. You also get three creative distortion styles with which you can smudge, stretch, crush, rectify, and clip your sounds in several unexpected ways. The Saturn interface uses the what-you-use-is-what-you-see interface that shows you only what you are actually using. The graphic buttons provide you with direct access to your important settings. The multiband designs and per-band feedback, dynamics, drive, tone and modulation options can add depth to your music by applying subtle modulation to crossover frequencies, dynamics, band levels or tone controls. This software is built with an interactive multiband display and has GPU powered graphic acceleration, which takes the strain off of your CPU by using the computers graphic card for your screen displays. This Saturn software does MIDI well also. It features MIDI learn, Smart Parameter Interpolation for smooth parameter transitions, and offers extensive help with interactive help hints and SSE optimization. You also receive modulation options with the 16-step XLFOs, XY controllers, envelope generators, envelope followers, and MIDI sources. Available in VST, VST3, Audio Units, AAX Native and AudioSuite formats in both 64-bit and 32-bit, as well as RTAS in 32-bit only. - Per-band drive, mix, feedback, dynamics, tone and level controls with per-band solo and mute options
- Features an interface concept using what-you-use-is-what-you-see so you only view what you are using
- Normal and wide interface layouts, with an option to show or hide the modulation section at the bottom of the screen
- Interactive MIDI learn with per-component presets
- Undo, redo and A/B switch features that allow you to revert back to the initial preset values
- Available in VST, VST 3, Audio Units, AAX Native and AudioSuite formats in both 64-bit and 32-bit, as well as RTAS in 32-bit only
