Product description The BigEye F Series Wide-Angle Lens for FP7000, FP7100, FG15, or FG16 Housing for Nikon P7000 / P7100 from Fantasea Line is a patented wide-angle lens for the following underwater housings: the FP7000 for the Nikon Coolpix P7000 camera, the FP7100 for the Nikon P7100 camera, the FG15 for the Canon PowerShot G15 camera, and the FG16 for the Canon PowerShot G16 camera. It fits over the housing port and can be installed and removed during the course of the dive. The lens should only be installed underwater, while letting water enter the gap between the lens and the housing lens port. Make sure there are no air bubbles trapped between the lens and the port before use. When taking photos with the BigEye Lens installed, set your camera focus mode to "MACRO" to avoid blurred images. The lens is depth rated to 200' (60 m). Perfect for shooting a variety of subjects, including seascapes, divers, ship wrecks, and schools of fish, this lens allows you to get nice and close to your subject while still getting a wide angle of coverage. By minimizing the distance and water between you and your subject, you reduce distortion and get images that are clearer and more accurate. The lens features 127% (0.57x) magnification. The air pocket inside the lens enhances the angle of light refraction, thereby restoring the original 80° angle of coverage of the camera lens. The BigEye enables installing color correction filters inside the lens, thereby producing vivid and colorful images or videos. Color correction filters help replace some of the tones that are lost underwater, due to the blue filtering effect of the ocean. The lens features a dedicated slot that allows for easy installation of red or pink color correction insert discs (not included). The RedEye insert is included with the Fantasea Line RedEye Filter FP7000 #5211, while the PinkEye insert is included with the PinkEye Filter FP7000 #5212. The BigEye Lens blocks the camera's internal flash, resulting in underexposed or shaded images, so it is recommended that you use an optional external strobe when the lens is mounted on the housing. This will improve the quality of your lighting, giving you better images. - Durable Materials
- Optical glass, hard coated plastic and anodized aluminum make this lens tough and able to withstand the elements
